Our purpose as a group of people who are passionate about the love of God and his love for mankind, is to find every opportunity to bring this good news to those who don’t know it. As others respond and come to the knowledge of the love of God, our aim is to provide Biblical training in order to help them understand who God really is, what he has provided for them, and how they can fulfil his purpose for their lives. As they continue to follow the teachings of Jesus, they will come to know God’s will for their lives, and they will find that it is good, pleasing and perfect.
Our worship service is a time of coming together as a church and coming into God’s presence. The ministry of music and song is an integral part of our services where we welcome God’s Holy Spirit above all else. As we focus on welcoming Him, He will welcome others.
Based on Scripture
While prayer ministry in the church is always ongoing, the church holds a prayer meeting on the first Monday of each month to pray for the needs of the church and the wider community.
As individuals we are called to pray
Php 4:6-7: do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. (7) And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
As a church we are to follow the pattern of the early church in Jerusalem
Act 2:42: And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.
As a church we want our children to know how much God loves them and how much he wants a relationship with them. Our goal is to teach them that the life of a Christian is a fun-filled life and a life with Jesus is a life like no other.
It’s never too early in life to hear about the amazing sacrifice of Jesus to purchase forgiveness for mankind, and his love for little children.
Prov 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.
Mat 19:14 ESV but Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”
